The ISHE Ventures team brings together venture capital, private equity, accelerator, governance, operator and risk management experience all the way from product ideation to exits.

Managing Partner

Kudzai is an Actuary turned Operator and Investor. She has experience across healthcare, banking and insurance, having worked in corporate and a start-up. She is also a non-executive director in the UK and Namibia.

General Partner

Lebo is a private equity professional with vast experience in management consulting. He is also a former GP at a South African VC fund. He particularly focuses on potential exits and investor relations.

Kudzai and Lebo are supported by one additional General Partner and a Lead Venture Partner. Both come with extensive venture capital experience in Africa. Our Lead Venture Partner stewards the Venture Partner and Venture Scout programs.

Ishe Ventures has built a strong team of Venture Partners and Venture Scouts to support portfolio companies in their day-to-day needs and with deal sourcing.

14 Venture Partners and Venture Scouts have been secured to date across all desired functions.

We are “exit-minded” and apply a risk-management lens to all of our deals, across the entire investment process. This includes our deal sourcing. To facilitate this, our Lead Venture Partner works closely with the GPs to ensure that we execute on our strategy intentionally and proactively.
